 ​​Christopher Melley, CEO

Christopher Melley co-founded Preferred Care in 2004 and currently serves as the company’s Chief Executive Officer. Known for his tenacity, business acumen and thorough understanding of Federal and State healthcare statutes and regulations, Chris was responsible for leading the company’s deficiency-free Medicare Certification in 2005 and Joint Commission Accreditation with Deemed Status in 2009. With a passion for ongoing growth and development, Chris played an integral role in the expansion of the company’s operations from one county to a total of eight counties spanning both coasts of the State of Florida. In 2021, Chris led the successful re-accreditation of all locations. Despite the company’s rapid growth, Chris remains dedicated to the company’s core mission of providing the highest quality home healthcare services in a personalized manner. Chris holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with Honors from the University of Miami. Chris is also a graduate of the Harvard Business School.

Vivian Melley, RN, WCC

Vivian Melley co-founded Preferred Care in 2004. With nearly four decades of experience as a Registered Nurse, including three decades of home health care experience, Vivian leads the company's clinical operations. Vivian's experience across a variety of healthcare settings, including acute care hospitals, assisted living facilities, and independent living facilities for seniors, has allowed her to tailor the agency's clinical approach to meet the unique needs of the agency's patients. Vivian graduated from the Jackson Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and holds WCC® advanced wound care certification.
